In SPECTRUM version 6.0.1, the SetScript, UpdateScript and ClearScript files replaced the $COND variable with $SEV. Alarm severity is no longer represented by colors such as RED, ORANGE or YELLOW, but by more meaningful text descriptions such as CRITICAL, MAJOR and MINOR.

This change causes problems for SPECTRUM customers using the ASAM product to filter alarms sent from SPECTRUM to Attention! NS. ASAM was designed to check for alarm severity based on the Condition Code value used by SPECTRUM prior to version 6.0.1. Therefore, for ASAM to continue to work with the newest version of SPECTRUM, Condition Code values must be derived in SetScript, ClearScript and UpdateScript based on the Severity values represented in the $SEV variable.

This self-extracting executable contains the new SetScript, ClearScript and UpdateScript files to be used by SPECTRUM customers running version 6.0.1.
