ANIM does more than just filter alarms. ANIM serves as a link for two-way communication between the Network Inspector Console and Attention! NS. If a Network Inspector event results in the execution of an Attention! NS escalation chain, Network Inspector users can choose to have the escalation chain terminated when the event is deleted in the Network Inspector Console. The ability to affect the running Attention! NS escalation chain enhances the value of the Network Inspector Console as a central point of control in your managed network environment.
