When an Attention! NS action begins the notification process, it will continue until a message recipient responds to the event and either changes the state, or cancels the escalation chain. Acknowledging an action is typically accomplished using 2way pagers, by calling into the Attention! NS Telephone Response Interface, or via the command line on any client system.

With Attention! CC, message recipients also have the option of acknowledging actions via the web. By simply entering the unique eventid associated with the escalation chain, and its new state, Attention! CC users can quickly update the status of important notifications initiated by Attention! NS.
