Attention! CC Attention! CC

Example:   Web Messaging with no logon required

By default, Attention! CC requires every user to log onto the system. Their username and password can be stored in the central SQL database used by all applications in the Attention! product family, or accessed from any LDAP-compliant directory service, such as Microsoft's Active Directory. By identifying the logged in user, Attention! CC administrators implement security standards to enable or deny web messaging access on a user by user basis.

In some situations, however, quick and simple access to message dissemination takes precedence over security issues. For example, in many healthcare environments, it is important for users in a particular area to initiate immediate notification via a single click of the mouse.

In this Attention! CC API application, healthcare professionals accessing the system are not prompted to enter their username and password. This allows everyone within the healthcare network to initiate message delivery by simply double-clicking the browser icon on any workstation in their immediate area.
