In addition to its use as an Emergency Notification system, Attention! RT provides an automated method to keep management personnel apprised of the general operation and health of the manufacturing floor.

In this example, the plant manager for the Body 590 line has indicated he would like to be kept apprised of all events related to his line. He will receive Attention! RT communications when Body 590 is completely down, when it is operating in a degraded condition, or when some information of interest relating to Body 590 needs to be disseminated.

The Body 590 plant manager subscribed to all Body 590 Subjects by selecting Subscribe to Body 590 and all subjects below it. In addition, he has elected to receive Attention! RT communications when the GA 590 or Paint 590 lines are down.

It is worth noting that in this situation, Attention! RT communications regarding the health of the Lake City Plant will be initiated in an automated fashion using the Attention! RT API . In other words, the Attention! RT messages will not be published by logging into the Attention! RT web interface. Rather, alarms detected by the Lake City Plant's automation software will trigger Attention! RT communication without the need for human intervention.
