Change the State of an Attention! NS Action

Attention! NS notification usually takes place in the context of an Action, which is an escalation chain of people to be contacted for important events. By responding to executing Actions, and changing their State, users have the ability to stop the chain, or specify it should continue to other individuals.

In this example, the user is responding to notification received by an Attention! NS Action with an 4-digit EventID of 1245. If the user cannot respond to the Action and take care of the issue, they will select Escalate from the New State menu. Otherwise, they will cancel the escalation chain by selecting the Close menu option.

Regardless of the option selected, the user will receive a confirmation message to their PDA via an SMS text message or Email.
